I watched the movie The Andromeda Strain last night........

It's a fantastic Science Fiction film available on YouTube. Arthur Hill is the only "name" actor that appears. If you've never seen this one definitely check it out!
One of the scientists in that movie had a seizure because of flashing lights.
Now in some movie warnings they include flashing lights.

It's a good one for dure.

Though it's still watchable because of the story I'd love to see that movie remade.....70s films age so poorly.
Depends on the film

This was big stuff when it came out, I remember my parents taking me to see it when it came out in something like 1970. It freaked me out, during the closing credits, it says that the movie was based on actual events that had happened somewhere.

The movie is highly underappreciated. I actually have the movie on laser disc.

I should add that I was just entering my teens when this movie came out and I was beginning to really dig deep into science. This movie literally introduced me to its clinical thinking and many logical progressions not only in how their staff and building were chosen and laid out floor by floor, but their approach to detecting, addressing and controlling/containing the unknown agent. It really was a detective story, they were searching for something that could kill at any second and they didn't even know what it was or what to look out for.

"Sure is a helluva way to run a hospital."

Everything about the movie was actually an accurate representation of the approach, design and technology that really would (and was) used during an event like that. Everything about the movie was actually very realistic.
