Texas has a good defense. One of the best in the country.

And a very good special teams

But the Longhorns offense is horrible and the blame is on the head coach

Sark is a lousy play caller and its a miracle that UT won the game in spite of the head coach

But it must be pointed out that Arch Manning is a very unreliable quarterback

Many of his throws were uncatchable

Yes the OL was porous and Arch had little time to tun plays

Maybe that spooked him

But when he did have time he threw away easy completions

Texas will be lucky to win 8 games this season

The Manning Hype should be LONG OVER.

Nothing special from him.

S. Sanders has better upside, and that's not saying much.

Just to give you a bump...I will share: I boycott all pro-sports.

My college football team is Temple which I think is from the same mold as the Longhorns.

I'll read about a few teams...Penn State, Notre Dame or FL teams.

Manning Hype should be LONG OVER.
I’m not sure that its Arch’s fault

Sark failed to build a good OL in the off season

It was leaky on pass protection and that allowed Kentucky to harass Arch on every play

And the O-line had holding and illegal procedure penalties that put Texas in 3rd and long far too often

But Arch did miss some easy throws thst he should have completed

The Longhorns need a dedicated offensive coordinator to call plays

Sark IS NOT the offensive genius that he and some talking heads on TV think he is

I’m positive that there are at least 50 coaches in college and high school who could be more successful calling plays for the players Texas has on the team right now

Sark is a good head coach but a lousy offensive coordinator

Does Temple even play football? You have my sympathies.

Sure !

They always have good games and even when they lose they are like entertaining...with scores like 17-14. They do get blown out every so often.

I don't follow my local team except for a glance. I live at the dividing line of Georgia fans...next Interstate exit down you see 1 Vol hat to every 5 Bulldog hats.

cheers to you for boycotting all professional sports.same here. womens pro tennis would be the LONE exception I would be willing to pay money for.

It's now even harder to tell who will be elite, good, down, bad, etc. The transfer system has affected that greatly.
