I will support any nominee for Pope who isn't 'woke', 'progressive' (as that exists in the USA), who supports basic Christian values the Roman Catholic Church has embraced for decades. Since few of the Cardinals fit that description anymore, I don't expect to be entirely happy with who they do choose.
P.S. I am not and have never been Roman Catholic. But I appreciate the importance of the top spiritual leader of the world's largest Christian denomination and want that leader to be what Pope Francis too often was not.
I do not know the man or anything about him. Impossible to honestly say whether I would or would not support him. I hesitate to take your word for what isn't 'woke&commie' though.

What most western Ukraine people and one Catholic cardinal believe are not necessarily the same thing. Again I know nothing about this man's beliefs. But reading a quick cursory history, his first assignment was in Russia, a communist country. He also served for awhile in New Jersey, one of our more leftwing states. And he currently serves in Melborne, Australia, probably Australia's most progressive city and Victoria its most progressive state. (Progressive defined as Americans define it, i.e. woke and leftwing.)
So I'm not convinced until I know more of his basic personal philosophy.

He looks like Zelensky--I suspect satirical photoshop.
He might be related to Zelensky--I haven't delved that far into his background--but he really does look like that.

And, if he doesn't get chosen, then will you continue to attack the new Pope? A Pope with a beard? Really?
I'm not Catholic so I think that the Catholic Church should all join in with the church with a real Prophet of God, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Conversationally, though, I would say they need to pick a Latin American pope, if they want the Church to thrive.
Europeans don't want to be Catholic, because it interferes with their buttsex and other queerness. American Catholics want to be Catholics, but like all Americans, they want to do it their own way. You know, be the kind of "Catholic" that fights for the "right" to abortion, and for gay and women priests.
Latin Americans are having babies all the time with no interest in birth control, even if it wasn't forbiden. They believe in the reward in heaven for their poverty and so make no effort to climb out of it. But they are always good for contributions to the church.

Thank you for sharing the truth, pastor! Yes. Seems to me there should be more explicit emphasis that US/EU support for Ukraine is a national security issue, not a “foreign aid” issue.

Thank you for sharing the truth, pastor! Yes. Seems to me there should be more explicit emphasis that US/EU support for Ukraine is a national security issue, not a “foreign aid” issue.
I don’t see any correlation with the topic or my response. And no, we don’t have the term “pastor” for a calling in our Church.
