Yes I will watch the Super bowl and AFC/NFC Championship every single year until I die.

I hardly ever watch the regular season and I NEVER follow the offseason

The Wokeness and Thug culture really killed the game for me. Also, all the rule changes ( getting rid of kickoff returns) ( cant touch the QB) just killed the game for me .

Oh well

The NFL is so uninteresting that you HAD to post about it?

I used to follow the NFL fairly closely, because at one time my neighborhood team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, were rather dominant, and the whole town was crazy for them. But even then, I rarely watched a whole game, and never actually bought a ticket to see the team in person.

Now, I seriously don't get why people are so involved. It's just a game. You don't know anybody on either team, and they are playing for "your" team only because they are paid to do it. Many of them would likely be on the wrong side of the law if they weren't getting paid to play football.

Parenthetically, I went to an all-boys HS where the football team was a Big Deal. And if you had made a list of the 40 biggest A-holes in the school, and compared it to the football team roster, it would have been almost a perfect match. Just sayin'.

The best thing about football season is that it is easy to get a golf tee time on Sunday afternoons in the Fall. I really HATE the fact that games are played at times other than Sunday afternoons. When the Steelers play on some other day, or on Sunday night, the golf courses are still crowded.

Yet you watched Opening Night and STARTED a post about it.

Yes he did.

Why exactly do you care? Serious question. How much time do you spend at an NFL game watching the cheerleaders?
Actually, it's their community involvement that I care about. Tickets have gotten to be so expensive that I have never really cared to purchase them. I have lots of friends with PSLs....just never cared.

However, had players as friendly neighbors, caught coaches picking up a gallon of milk on the way home from games. Known several cheerleaders who doubled as waitstaff or hostesses and even training staff at gyms. They all volunteer in uniform for various charity events outside of the playing field for childrens hospitals and other charitable events around their home city. No different from the players who do the same thing.

I watched every Raiders pre season game ( And will watch every regular Season Game ( like last year )

Enjoy.

For both of us.

I doubt I'll watch a single game this year. I think it's been several years since I watched one all the way through.

I can relate. I especially like the less hyped AFC/NFC Championships. Otherwise, my NFL viewing is limited to trying to stay awake catching our local Arizona Cardinals games from start to finish. But it has nothing to do with wokeness nor rule changes.

My complaint with the NFL is the same I have with all of network TV, too many commercials and lengthy commercial breaks. I subscribe to commercial-free YouTube and my wife subscribes to Netflix. With those two all my viewing needs are pretty well met.

Do NFL games have more/longer commercials than in the past? Genuine question.

I only watch 3 games a year but the SB half time show is utterly revolting
