I was a member of a political discussion forum for a couple of years sponsored by the History channel and I was banned for life for moderately conservative opinions. I complained to my congressman and the H.C. discussion forum went under.

There are no "simple rules" here.....There's enough wiggle room in them that virtually anyone could be infracted and banned at any time.

I posted ad C-SPAN and Hannity for years, where the rules were far stricter and far fewer, but everyone knew exactly what they were.

I think one of the biggest problems with maude staff collectively is and has always been lack of competent discernment when met with the resonsibility of 1 - recognizing, and 2 - handling arbitrary, purposefully disingenuous reporting.

The cloven hooved demograph within the usership understands this shortcoming and tends to take advantage of it in that same arbitrary, purposefully disingenuous way.

I like to say that it's not necessary that we all agree. That it is only necessary that we all agree that we should all be free. That's a learned philosophy.

So I've no gripe with meaningful disagreement on the actual, critical issues with which we're faced. Some of which might show up on the board at some point if you idiots can quit arguing over trivial, meaningless pablum like whether or not someone is black.
