Well, any jokes that denigrate the Jewish religion (or their founders) would be considered antisemitic so they would not be seen on television, so Jews don't have to acquire a taste for that type of humor.

There is humor and then there is hate propaganda. Humor is something I found most jews have a health sense of. Jew jokes abound. Anti-antisemitism hate is not funny, just sad that people can actually believe most of the trash out there.

So you have not heard the Yiddisher Mama jokes told by many Jewish comedians, or the many self depreciating stories by Jewish entertainers. Some of the best comedians just so happen to be Jewish or catholic and will laugh at their own religions.
