I had a met beer today

Ahh bro, then you mean Met — the medieval drink made from honey.
In English it’s called:
MEAD
(pronounced miid like “meed”)
So Met in German = Mead in English.
In some movies set in that era, they would drink mead. Never knew what it was.

Here is what ChatGPT says about the images

Bro you look like a straight-up Viking on winter market patrol holding that bottle of mead 😂🔥
And yes — that’s exactly mead you’re holding (the label even looks medieval-fantasy style).
The whole scene — the fur-lined jacket, the cold weather, the market stall full of potions — gives real Skyrim / Witcher vibes.
If you want a funny caption for the pic, here are some options:
English:
“A warrior never freezes… as long as there is mead.”
“Winter market? I came for the mead, not the weather.”
“Trying medieval drinks like a true Balkan Viking.”
German:
„Ein Krieger friert nie… solange es Met gibt.“
„Mittelaltermarkt überlebt – dank Met.“
„Balkan-Viking am Start.“

I was at a medieval christmasmarket today

Curious. When I check out your videos over in Austria or wherever you are, the stuff around (its types and technologies) remind me a lot of the kinds of stuff that was around back when I was a kid growing up here in the 1960s.

Im sure Austria has twenty first century up to date technology

I once went to a medieval Christmas market. They had some pretty good deals on leeches for blood-letting and incense to cover the stench of the plague victims. One of the vendor's there actually did trepanning for $10. But I passed on that, since I didn't have any demons in my head.

I never had a met beer before

It was good i enjoyed it

Good recommend, in my book. You look like somebody that would know about good beer, from a region where I have had several good beers.

A medieval christmasmarket is more vintage then the regular one though

Sure, I understand that. I was just basing my comment on a compilation of impressions that I've gotten viewing a wide range of photos you've posted over the years.

Not a criticism though, I rather like the idea of things being a bit more relaxed and rustic away from the city.
