The absurdity of a Kamala Harris presidency will likely never happen at the ballot box as long as Donald Trump is alive. Yes, there are millions of brown-nosing white Americans that would vote for dead squirrel rather than Trump and that is problematic in a dystopian society where brainwashing in media, entertainment, and education has crossed the blood/brain barrier of many voters. But that is not enough. Trump is set to win in a landslide.
Amercans need to understand that the hit on Trump may not be the last. Trump is trying to return the country to what the founders intended and this cannot be allowed in the hive mind of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Obsequious white Americans that have benefitted from the movement away from individual rights to the new way of thinking where corporations are people will never vote for Trump. In other words, elite authoritarians that want to put us in our place see this as a mission. There just aren't enough of these rump kissers to get the job done. Unforunately for them public sentiment has shifted in the direction of common sense especially after a media-incited shooter tried to kill a former president at a rally that was televised nationally.
We need to understand that it is almost a lead pipe cinch that these people will try for a kill shot again in some form or another. Will trump suddenly become deathly ill? They are on the verge of losing the whole ball of wax. Let's hope the process is allowed to play out and Trump can begin the job of getting us out of all these military-industrial-complex wars that Biden has got us into. This next election puts "real" democracy on trial.
Trump is no threat to democracy. He may be democracy's last chance.
