I believe all parents should want to give their children the typical American middle class suburban childhood

I watched this news report and it made me sad.

I felt sorry about the kids.

If I were the children I would have felt cheated but they were surprisingly well behaved.

There are enough resources on Earth to make everyone a house made out of cement

and do it with "Zero Emissions"!

During the next 50 years we should go 100 percent on going "Zero Emissions" and Americanizing the world.

Then in the 100-200 years do a combination of population control and solar system colonization.

"Researchers say there are at least a billion times more usable resources in space than on Earth."

Humanity should dream!

I have experienced urban, suburban and rural lifestyles. All three have advantages over each other. Not sure which is best overall. In my old age I seem to prefer rural. That was not the case all my life. I am also unique as is every one else. Some may thrive in a different setting. My interest tend to lean towards outdoor activities. Suburban to rural was likely best childhood for me. My children for the most part had different interests. The were a little more cultured and were interested in arts and music.Urban to suburban was likely better for them. My eldest was the only athlete however he preferred fight sports. Wrestling, boxing, martial arts. Again urban to suburban held more opportunities. One must play to the strengths of the individual. Teach work hard and work smart is about the only advice that works in all situations.

Cement is a carbon intense building material. I am not sure how you get to it being zero emissions housing for everyone on the planet.

Forget this retarded star-gazing and escapist insanity. We've barely scratched the surface of what is right under our feet, all the way to the Earth's core.

Uninhibited development of natural resources is the only thing that has ever created class mobility. Our RichKid Reich will never allow that, so it must be defunded.

Don't really have a preference (unless you count moving to a small, all-Canadian town in search of white boys a preference), but I have to stay near a big city for job purposes. If I moved to a small town, I'd probably starve.

Big city is best for job opportunities. I spent most my working years in one. I am semi retired now. Live in small town that is a tourist trap. As expensive as the city. Not chasing jobs anymore. I run fishing charters and duck guide for spending money. Love to hunt golf and fish. Major opportunities for all the above here. I am in the right place for my life as it is currently.
