She’s wrong. Why? Because the Constitution grants sole authority in immigration matters to the federal government. Let’s assume that the Supremacy Clause matters.

A sanctuary city or sanctuary state flies in the face of that. But, the cities and states are perfectly content to take federal funding.

So sanctioning them for violation of the separation of powers has to be a tool on the table for the federal government. And if the local or state populace feels that pinch, GREAT.

It might just motivate them to give their representatives some irate feedback. And at the local and state levels, the people are much closer to the government. So vote THOSE irresponsible morons out.

What makes you think it's a big deal ? The law is clear (you cannot harbor, conceal, shield illegal aliens). Bondi should have arrested these rats on day one.
