I took my daughter to Larch Mountain in the Columbia gorge. We had to hike up four miles to the trailhead as the road was closed at the 10 mile marker, and the trail head was at the 14 mile marker. so four miles and about 2000 feet of gain. There was a lot of snow up there.

then we hiked down to multnomah Falls. 6 3/4 miles down.

She felt good the next day, but I still ache. It was a fun trip though.

been up that trail myself but not so far! Love multnomah Falls.
So you live in Washington or Oregon?

I've been there so many times. It's a blast.

I took my 6 y.o. and her horse to an obstacle horse/playday last Saturday. It was a weekend for the girls, apparently.

How cool, and how lucky you are to live there, and be able to do those kinds of things with your daughter!

Nice!

I live near Mt Tabor in Portland.
ah! That is cool! I drove down I 82? can't remember what it is last summer and stopped there. I want to go to Seaside this summer but I don't think it is going to happen.
