The genocides a-plenty for many thousands of years.

The horrors of war atrocities.

The dysgenics of Humanity, as the stupid, and criminals continue to have too many kids.

The famines that could've been adverted, be it from Communism like the Holodomor, or by Capitalism like the Bengali Famine.

Those who died from lack of healthcare that could've been rewarded to them.

Those dying from toxic pollution be it Communism ones like Chernobyl, or Capitalist ones like Union Carbide in India.

The terrorism, rapes, shootings, beheading's, serial killers, spree shooters etc. etc. inflicting suffering.

Can anyone really say we've lived up to our potential as a "Species"?

And we managed all of that with our God given free will. On one hand I'd blame the fellow who first convinced a child to rebel against his parents. On the other, I'd blame the first child who thought he knew more than mom and dad. But, end of day, we humans have no one else to blame but the man in the mirror.
