Actually, the old prohibitionists were right. Many of their warnings actually came to pass like teenage drinking. Not altogether, but it did end rampant public drunkenness.
I had a fly ash from a cigarette go into my eye while I was driving. Blinded, I hit the brakes and stopped in the middle of an intersection. Thankfully there were no other cars around. I also heard of a case where a driver reached for a pack of cigarettes on the floor of his pickup and hit and killed a woman jogger.Actually, the old prohibitionists were right. The difference is, not everyone who has a drink becomes a raging alcoholic. People can have a beer and go back to work. There are those that can have a glass of champagne on New Years Eve and never again until next New Years. With the drugs that we have the incidence of addiction is very high. Accidental addictions occur with chronic pain. The level of impairment reaches 100%. Cigarettes have a very high rate of addiction but no rate of impairment. No one ever had a car accident when the one for the road was a Marlboro.
That's why it is a really stupid idea to legalize drugs.
Nicotine is a poison if too much is taken.
Taking the advice of governments bought and sold to the cartels who deliver nor wanted outcomes whatsoever once again?
Drug lords, time to get SUICIDED!!!!.
