I had not been raised in any religion, so I didn't see the term until much later in my life -- maybe in my teens. But I knew the word by the time I had reached adulthood.

I'd have to look to be able to tell you the number of people in my parish. It's quite small.

I couldn't even guess. Last Altar Society meeting, we were talking about it, and we can all see that our church attendance is growing by a lot, but that doesn't indicate the number of parish members.

It would be interesting to know the numbers of other parishes as well.

I doubt that any will have 75,000 members

nothing more than gatherings of humans - is that really heavenly. when in fact its only for themselves the pretension is everything else.
