How far that little candle throws it's beams, so shines a good deed in a weary world.

Do we also wave mortgage payments? ... how about waving repairs and insurance? ... property taxes? ...

Landlord profits are only 50% your rent ... sad but true ... the other 50% is honest expenses ... how about pay half your rent for a month, better than the landlord going bankrupt and forcing you to move ...

You can't even appreciate this wonderful story? Pitiful AND pathetic.

How about another?

Help your neighbors...wash your hands...

In the town I live a lady was going around to local eateries with a box full of hand made face masks she had sewn.
She was giving the masks away to employees and anyone who needed/wanted one.
The masks are beautiful and well made.

It's about the money ... period ... why should the landlord have to spend one week less in Hawai'i because of this ... strictly the tenant's problem getting rent in on time ... or they're homeless ...

Someone, just randomly put hand sanitizer on my door a few weeks ago. Been pretty much quarantining for....a month now.

Have food delivered etc.

Anyway, have no idea who did it. There was also a neighbor that handmade masks for everyone on our street. That was back in February. At least I knew who that was.

There are a lot more decent people than we think and deep down inside most of us want to do good things for others.

Just that most of us fail. Then again there is an old Chinese proverb that states, "Happiness is watching your neighbor fall off his roof."

Anyway, it is decent story and the posts by Reiny reminds me of an actual conversation I had with Stan Musial years ago. Yes that Stan the man. Anyway, he was a devout man. Not in a weird way and I recall what he told me. He told me that if we walk through life with a thankful spirit, that we will find a peaceful mind. If we have a hard time, pray daily for it, and you will find that your thankfulness will grow.
