Why? AI is here to stay and to whatever extent it becomes an assist to human efforts all I can say is bring it on! There is of course a danger of it being abused but those dangers exist with everything we have currently in our technology system. The threat of abuse is nothing new.

1. That was one robocall that sounded exactly like Biden, but wasn't. (now illegal)

As you said previously, AI depends on programming, if programmed to impersonate someone, like Joe Biden it would be able to generate a realistic video, even if its reading from a teleprompter like real Joe. If it was told to respond to questions as Joe Biden would, it most likely would do a realistic impersonation.

4. Congress is considering a "NO FAKES ACT", so you might want to reconsider. AI is nothing like Photoshop.
