Truck drivers were part of a network of eyewitnesses for Homeland security. Because most infrastructure requires regular deliveries of volatile or toxic substances. And because a CDL is supposed to double as a Federal ID....it was a pretty good idea.

Now with SS numbers being compromised, Federal ID no longer valid. And literal terrorists using trucks to inflict terrorism....

To be fair, Commercial Driver's Licenses are issued by the States, not the Federal Government. My Class A was issued by PA, not the United States of America.

Having said that, it is the policies of open borders and a willingness of the left to import voters -- yeah, I know, they can't vote. I snicker at that one, too -- so they needed various means of giving it a stamp of approval from some government.

That much is true. I had to have one every six months after my heart attack which was just onerous enough for me to look for employment in a different field.

Don't get me wrong, those physicals are necessary, but one a year might have been better. For me at least.

I guess the best part of that is that I don't have to drive 75 feet a big rig in downtown Chicago anymore. lol
