After the final two seasons of Game of Thrones sucked, I had no desire to watch House of Dragons

It took them too long to get to the actual dragon fights this season, but after last nights episode it looks like all out war finally

I'm trying to watch it but have no idea whats going on. I watched the 1st season and followed it a little. I'm not a fan of shows/movies that go backwards. I did watch GOT but honestly all I remember was dragon, midget, Jon Snow, so I keep thinking I don't get HOD because I didn't get GOT. I didn't get the Hobbit Elf movies either, nor do I follow Harry Potter or any of the Superhero movies. I've only watch them because someone else in the house is watching them.

Take a look. The OP is pretty correct, in my opinion. The first six episodes in Season did but only adequately develop the plot and characters. The writing is good, the casting was just above average.

However, from S1E1 it has become almost as entertaining as GOT. Time will tell. Watch it.

While I enjoyed the Game of Thrones, I'm not impressed with the House of Dragons. Boring. Part of what was good about the Game of Thrones, was the solid cast. I liked Charles Dances' performance as Tywin Lannister, Rory McCann as the Hound and Jerome Flynn as Bronn of the Blackwater. The same can't be said about the cast in the House of Dragons. None of the cast stands out.

This is completely true about the cast of HOD. I'll also add HOD has no cute people, GOT had the adorable Kit Harington and the girl with the dragons was beautiful and had cute outfits.

I like Dragons and I hate seeing them die.

The series doesn't really have a hook other than everything that happened in Season 1.

I've been watching "The Chosen" and if I compare the story about Jesus and House of Dragons.....there's no comparison.

House of Dragons is a downer to me.

It's well done but they needed to spread out events into several seasons like they did Game of Thrones.

The time jumps kind of ruined the story for me.

But I still watch it because I want to see what happens next.
