House Ethics Committee says now that Gaetz retired no one cares about sexual assaults

Rep. Susan Wild (Pa.), the top Democrat on the House Ethics Committee, said today that the investigation into the sexual misdeeds Matt Gaetz was accused of participating in with a minor has ended since he is resigning from Congress and has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Attorney General nomination.

"We just don't care anymore", said Susan. I mean, sure, he may have committed crimes against kids, "BIG WOO!", but what do we care so long as he has no political power whatsoever? It's not about justice; it is about preserving democracy. Translated, what preserving democracy means is we must remove all opposition to the DNC from government because DNC totalitarian control is what democracy is all about, but I think that is only common sense."
