Well to be honest I brought it home Monday and was awaiting the hand stop.
The Gilboa M43 was developed for use by Israeli operatives in enemy territory so their mags/ammo could be used and it works, every AK mag/drum I've tried works just fine.....That's no small design feat in and of itself.
I went with MagPul AK mags and since it's pistol length (7.5" barrel) I used 20-rounders in it.
They were imported around 2017 but the price ($1600) was more than a bit high when decent AKs for half the price were still available.
I stuck a set of MagPul Pro steel irons on it, along with a Holosun reflex sight I had, loaded-up some mags and took it down to my range to get sighted in, I had already bore sighted it.....It is a very smooth operating weapon but loud due to the very effective muzzle break.
Accuracy was just fine at 50 yards. I used some German 7.62X39 ammo that has proven accurate for me.
Here's a write up on the carbine version:

An Official Journal Of The NRA | Review: Gilboa M43 Carbine
When it comes to AR-pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39 mm and configured to accept AK-pattern magazines, the Gilboa M43 Carbine may be the best on the market.
