The odd thing is, at six three I never thought of myself as tall, I just saw everyone else as short. I know, it’s a warped way of seeing the world, but it’s the way I felt. I also get uncomfortable being around people taller than I am.

My grandfather was saved in WWII by being short. He was behind 3 or 4 guys who were a head taller in New Guinea on patrol, and the sniper assumed he would be the same height. Bullet cracked over his head.
