Been waiting for this one, and it finally became available for $5.99 stream rent everywhere.
Hugh Grant. Ugh. Never liked him in the countless rom coms he was in.
But then I saw the movie "The Gentlemen". What's this? He can act? And play other characters?
He was great in that movie. And he is equally great in this one. Playing pretty much the same character as in The Gentlemen.
This is a well done movie, all kinds of twists and suspenseful moments. Written well, the characters are well done and the setting for the movie is also well done.
But it was missing one thing - an ending as good as the movie. The ending was just.... meh. Not a clean ending, not wrapped up well and things explained. It was as if they were going along, everything is great and then someone said "so how do we end this?" And they quickly came up with it and filmed it.
But don't let that stop you. It is worth the $5.99.
