But why?

My children have different mothers. And back in the 80s and 90s 2 of those mothers lived in my home at the same time. And my eldest child's mother was deceased.

Legal bigamy made a lot of sense to me then.

There's a few closed communities in Utah that do polygamy. From what I've read and seen in documentaries it's only a good thing for the husband. Seems bizarre to me, it took me 30 years to figure out the the one I have.

Like everything, it's a mixed bag. I've seen documentaries with a happy situation, but more with issues between the wives, with the husband and/or the kids.
