Really hard burning feeling when I contract .
It’s the side muscle between my ribs
Very painful.
Any idea how long to heal

Sounds like you hit the weights too hard too fast. When you first begin weight training, you should start slow and gradually increase the intensity of your workouts, otherwise you might hurt yourself.

I used to be a professional personal trainer and nutritionist. My clients included a world record breaking powerlifter and a guy who went on to play in the NFL. Elite athletes.
I know what I'm talking about. You didn't crack your rib lifting weights unless you dropped them on your chest while bench pressing. It's likely a strain/tear.
Take it easy and put an ice pack on it. And don't sleep on that side.
