Dow drops 1,100 points as oil surges

And have you seen the world? It's burning thanks to Trump

As Trump falsely declares inflation tamed, Iran conflict threatens new price pressures

Core wholesale prices rose 0.8% in January, much more than expected

Fourth-quarter U.S. GDP up just 1.4%, badly missing estimate; inflation firms at 3%

U.S. trade deficit totaled $901 billion in 2025, barely budging despite Trump’s tariffs

The ‘boomcession’: Why Americans feel left behind by a growing economy

A portmanteau of the words “boom” and “recession,” the term can help explain why many Americans don’t feel the economic growth appearing on paper.

Economic output and the stock market are surging, consumers are spending big and the post-pandemic recession that many expected never materialized. But many feel terrible about their finances, with debt at all-time highs, and the majority of Americans incorrectly believe the country is in an economic slowdown.

“Traditionally, the economy is doing really well,” said Stoller, an antimonopoly advocate and research director at the American Economic Liberties Project, a nonpartisan thinktank. “But ordinary people are saying they’re not.”

Hardly shocking, given that Trump has pressing business to take care of and that markets go up and down and up and down and up and down.
Your searing, burning, irrational hatred for Trump once again reveals what a silly, unserious person you are, reacting to every single day's news instead of letting things breathe and realizing that, for instance, under Trump the DOW has skyrocketed.
Oh, no. You must not report that! That might actually give him credit!

Too phucking funny. :laughing0301:

Trump always wants credit for the Stock Market.
When the market goes south, he is quick to blame others.

DOW is DOWN almost 3,000
A direct correlation to trumps actions.

Will trump speak about the DOW being down almost 3K since he and Bondi yelled at Americans for not praising the greatness of djt?
Highly unlikely. Unless he speaks to BLAME someone else.

A few gas stations have already raised prices this morning around the panhandle of Florida. I checked some in Tampa and the ones I checked were up. Checked a few in different parts of Michigan and some are up and some are not, but some were last reported on gasbuddy yesterday. The ones that were up have been reported in the past 2 hours.

Don't you ever get tired of being humiliated by these ridiculous threads two days after you post them?

You leftwingers are silent when the Trump stock market explodes, but on one day it goes down as inevitably happens, the you negative nellies are all over it. I'm looking for Winco to jump in and celebrate.

They said they were going to, considering their navy is gone and any rocket launcher that tries to launch a rocket gets bounced, they don't really have the ability to do so.

If you were Iran, how would you fight the USA? I know what I would do.

I get frantic, perimenopausal wine moms losing their minds to TDS....sorta

But MEN. Emotionally unhinged, immature MEN doing so? Never will understand

under Trump the DOW has skyrocketed.
LIES don't tell the real story.

The DOW is indeed UP, since his inauguration, DOW was 44,025 on Jan 21.
Today the DOW currently sits at 47,725.
This a modest gain of 8.4%, over 13.5 months.

Hardly "Skyrocketing"
But keep telling that LIE.

I'll be very pleased when the DOW returns to near 50K, but today, not close.

I love how Trump says they tried to kill him twice. I don't buy that. But I do see Trump has now killed TWO top Iranians.

On January 3, 2020, a U.S. drone strike authorized by President Donald Trump killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force, near Baghdad airport. The strike was a major escalation of tensions with Tehran, with Trump stating it was to stop a war, while critics called it an unapproved action.

That's what a lot of conservative German men and women said in 1939 but back then it was HDS.

It will soon be time to buy stocks these are opportunities . The market will bounce back quickly

The problem for them is all the people that would make those decisions are mostly dead, and the underlings aren't used to taking steps without approval from the higher ups.
