In Arkansass the parent can be jailed for the kid not attending school, that law was passed in the 1990s.

IN fact, I wanted to home-school my own, but his mom is too much of a normie. She wanted all the traditional things for our kid; Friday night football, band concerts, Prom, homecoming, etc.

Ironic that it didn't pan out since his Senior year was COVID and he got none of that anyway.
