Perhaps the disruptions in the ME are more due to Trump abandoning the Kurds, and the 10,000 ISIS fighters they were holding prisoner. Erdogan asked Trump to withdraw and he did. When the Kurds wer forced to run for their lives, the ISIS fighters escaped.
ISIS tactics were used in the Hamas attack on Isreal - seen in the cruelty and depravity of the killing.
