Thomas Jonathan Jackson, born January 21, 1824.
Earned the sobriquet Stonewall during the yankee defeat at the First Battle of Manassas. Southern hero for the defense of the Shenandoah Valley and rout at Chancellorsville.

It was funny, one family branch hailed from Ireland so they joined the Emerald Guard, (Company E), the rest pretty much the Shenandoah Sharpshooters, (Company K).

Bear in mind they all lived within a couple miles of each other.
