On this thread in the very title posted early this afternoon I stressed the importance of Hamas stopping their attack on Israel & freeing the hostages before something terrible happens. Some of the Pali supports laughed at my comments on this thread. And now around 500 Palestinians in a hospital are dead, presumably some innocent as well. Just how dumb can we still forgive the Pali supporters for their lack of insight. Once again I hope Hamas will think of saving Palestinian lives by ending their attacks & freeing all hostages very soon before Israel's land invasion will result in thousands of dead Palestinians. LET THERE BE PEACE ALREADY!

Israel's war is not against Palistininas but Hamas and Isreal created the monster like our creation caused 9/11. The more we kill the more is born. We spent 20 years in the middle east trying to get rid of terrorist and failed and got thousand of innocent people killed. Terrorism cannot be defeated but it can be controlled ...Who really are the terrorist?

Yes, Israel's war is against Hamas. However, that means many Palestinians be they Hamas, supporters of Hamas or innocents will die. Best hope for Hamas is to free all of the hostages immediately to stop Israel from further attacks including a ground assault as well as bombing.

Even releasing the hostages would not be enough to stop the war now. Hamas has proved that the government of Israel cannot protect the Israeli people by just defending the border. The only way to prevent Hamas from continuing to terrorize Israelis with ever more dangerous weapons is to destroy Hamas. Since a major part of Hamas' military strategy is to use civilians as human shields, there will likely be a high number of civilian casualties, but if Israel fails to destroy Hamas there will be more and more Israeli civilian casualties.
 
I understand your reasoning. Problem is even if Israel did totally end Hamas, another Palestinian terrorist group would take its place.
 
If Hamas doesn't stop attacks on Israel & free all hostages very soon, they will be responsible for the deaths of many thousands of Palestinians.

Administrative detention is against the law. I guess you don't know how wrong it his to lock someone up without charges?
