So I found this interesting primarily because I've redacted documents myself, some more effectively than others, but also because of my background in digital forensics. It's horrible, that the DOJ on one hand, in its attempt to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) have "inadvertently" disclosed the identity of at least one of the victims, while blacking out entire pages of information and the entire photograph that are displayed on page after page, on the other.
I am personally familiar with this response from our federal government upon being compelled to disclosure information that they obviously feel may be damaging to the government itself or specific individuals within the government. But it's also intriguing what they DON'T redact, not to give anything away.
In any case, there are apparently a significant amount of people who are hard at work uncovering what the government has taken measures to attempt to conceal. I'm particularly interested in the recovered hard drives content and if steganography was used on any of the files.
