Greyhound Movie

It was a good movie. Very entertaining. Have no idea what Spock is talking about.
Is there any way to see it if one does not have Apple TV? Grandpa had two freighters blown out from under him by UBoats so a film blowing up the bad guys gives me jollies.

Send an email to Tim Cook, appeal to his sense of philanthropy, tell him you really want to watch this but you've fallen behind on your rent, ask for 3 free months.

Apple TV has some really good shows and movies, but not enough of them to justify the cost.

That's why I let my daughter pay for it.

I pay for all the other streaming services.

I cut the cable years ago and bought a digital antenna for 20 bucks. I get all the local TV stations on it. So **** cable.

What's pissing me off, though, is commercials are creeping into the subscription services.

I pay for Amazon Prime and I still have to sit through two or three minutes of commercials before a movie starts, and then another 2 or 3 minutes of commercials halfway through.

Even worse, you have to pay a rental fee for every movie like this is ******* Blockbuster or something.

It wasn't like that before.

Tubi and Freevee and Peacock are all free services, so I don't mind commercials on those.

It makes me wonder WTF I am paying Amazon Prime for.

There's plenty of other trained monkeys to watch.

I have issues with people who make a living because they support degenerate behavior.

There's a reason why child-rapists don't last long in prison.

Even criminals know it's one of the worst crimes imaginable.

If half the crap they're saying about Hillary, Michelle, Soros, and Spielberg is true....these people will burn in Hell for eternity.

Do you ask your garbage collector for proof of citizenship before he picks up your garbage? So you ask the plumber to show you his red hat before he fixes the leak in your house? I would guess not.

I think John Wayne and Clint Eastwood made some damn good movies despite their politics as did Tom Hanks and Jane Fonda. If you only read books, listen music, and watch movies of people whose politics or ideology matches your own, you will be missing a lot. However, if that floats your boats, have a nice sail.

I draw the line at ******* babies and human-sacrifice.

Advertising creeps into everything. Most streaming services that show ads, allow you to pay more for ad free entertainment.

Before there was cable and no one heard of streaming or DVDs or recording movies, there was broadcast television. 50 to 70 million of us were glued to the silver screen in living room. During the commercials, it was time for beer, some popcorn, or a bathroom break.

However, in those days there was a lot less commercial time and lot more entertainment time. For Example, I recorded a bunch of old 1 hour Gunsmoke westerns from the 50s and 60s. The actual run time w/o commercials was about 50 mins plus 10 mins of commercials and the average number of episodes was 34 per season.

Today the average number episodes in TV show per season in 22. The number minutes of commercials is 20 mins/hr.

Today, on commercial broadcasting, we are getting about twice as much commercials and significantly less programming.

Made in 2020. I finally got to see it yesterday.....I was entertained.

Off a novel by C. S. Forester, The Good Shepherd. Hanks ruined it with his ego, from the look of it.
