Lets see if libs hating conservatives holds up. If they hate us that bad then let eastern oregon annex into idaho. Portland is trash

Fifteen eastern counties have been proposed to move to the state of Idaho — together, they take up approximately 65% of Oregon’s land mass and roughly 9% of the population. As of Jan. 11, 2023, 11 of the 15 Eastern Oregon counties have already voted in favor of joining Idaho, including Klamath, Lake, Union, Grant, Sherman, Morrow, Wheeler, Baker, Malheur, Jefferson and Harney. Wallowa County is next in line to vote on the prospect of joining Idaho in their upcoming May election.

Just...no.
Truth is...we don't want them. Those counties bring nothing to our state, in terms of resources or income. Just a bunch of poor-ass rednecks set to be a constant drain on our resources.
Oregon can keep their whiners~

This shifts the house seats and EC votes to the GOP

Hell, I'd give them the land and they can start their own country. No taxes, no services, live off the land, all that.

**** YES. YOU GOT MY VOTE TOO.

Best of luck. Don't remember to write.

Resource drains are Demorats. The lowest income people in the country are Democrats You didn’t know this?

Western Washington and the Seattle metropolitan area has always paid most of the states taxes

Easten Washington, who has been getting a free ride, complains that they don’t get to call the shots

So, you support this move then?

What about agricultural resources?
Sheep/wool production.
Also wheat, apples, and potatoes? More of that Columbia/Snake river valley cant be all bad. (Dales locks)
Then northern mining couldnt hurt either....

I'm just lost as to how it's a drain on Idaho's resources.

Actually I think it is a case of “Be careful what you wish for”

Eastern Washington gets much more financial support from the Seattle SW/Tech billionaires than they would get from Boise.

The rest of the state of Washington would be better off

Cool, then they shouldn’t care if part of their state moves to a red state. Everybody should be happy. I say they go for it.

15th post
Then let them go. But you won't.
Huh? I don't care where they go, or if they go. I just don't want them to come here.
Not for political reasons, they would not change Idaho's political landscape at all, just more of the same...but for economic reasons--they bring nothing to the table.

Me too

Watch them whine when the source of their state support dries up
