Other news is telling us that China and India are competing for Russia's oil. China comes in as the probable winner because they are going to pay what their ally asks of them, regardless of what their enemy 'thinks' it's worth.

It could be Russian propaganda that is telling us that Russia's economy is booming but would be even moreso without the sanctions?

Russia is expected to rake in roughly $321 billion from energy exports in 2022, Bloomberg reported. That's up more than a third from last year.
