The reason there has been an increase in crime is because the only people who have to worry about the law is the victim.

The thing is that black kid was responsible for the death of the store owner. His own personal and intentional actions led to the mans death.

If he had never stolen from the store then there would have been altercation and no death. All he had to do was not break the law, but he did break the law and everything after that was his fault.

It's no different than if a guy is leading cops on a chase and one cops loses control of his car and wrecks and kills a woman then it is the fault of the criminal that led cops on the chase to begin with. His actions, his breaking the law led to the innocent death because if he didn't break the law then that innocent woman's death wouldn't have happened.
