I have TWO observations regarding the NYT stance:

First, I think that such an editorial will do more to incense the Trump cult, giving them yet another reason to spew their nonsense that they are the "victims" ....and

Second, the cowardly/spineless GOP "leadership"in congress is scared shit-less of Trump pulling off his childish tantrums, placing the responsibility of impeaching the moron on their lap.
