Wrong question. Of course, the president is supposed to have calls with all the world's leaders. That's where the real diplomacy happens. Those staged photo-ops where they sign documents is just that, a photo-op. All the real dealing is done long before, and many of those conversations never see the light of day. I would have expected you to know that.

One new thing some wealthy republicans are pushing is ending the death tax. Sounds good superficially but when you do the calculations the wealthy will gain exponentially from it and will become even wealthier leaving the rest of US with crumbs as usual. Maybe not even the crumbs in time.

It already has been. Its 67 now.

They want to raise it more. They need to cut off all those foreigners ( mostly Chinese } who came here and worked for the minimum amount of years to qualify and then moved back to China to live well off for the rest of their lives.Some may or may not already be dead but there's no accountability the checks are still sent and someone cashed the checks. Maybe they'll figure it out when they discover they're sending checks to someone who's suppose to be 150 years old.
