GOP Overplayed It's Hand /America and The Tea Party = Losers

The GOP gained more respect from me. Maybe the Socialists/Progressives have finally been kicked to the curb. They fought the good fight and lost. I'm actually ok with that. This Democrat Bill is an epic disaster. I think many in this country wanted the GOP to fight it with all their might. I think they did that. For once,i think many are now proud of the GOP again. It's been a long long time since real Conservatives were able to say that. In the end they just didn't have the numbers. The Democrats pulled every dirty trick imaginable to pass their disaster and i don't think that will be forgotten by many. As long as the GOP keeps fighting against this Socialist Tsunami, they will gain more respect from me.

It goes beyond that. todays USA Today/Gallup poll shows 49% favor the bill while 40% oppose.

November is not going to be as rosey as they thought

LOL... And how many of these people actually read the bill....:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Did anyone see Brian Williams at 6:30 last night.

He started off with "the historic passing of helathcare" and continued with how "millions of Americans across the nation will see an increase in the quality of their healthcare"

He made a statement of fact that is, right now, nothing but speculation....

Yep.....now it is fact...reported as fact.....STATED AS FACT BY A NEWS ANCHOR...............so no wonder the favorable ratings went up.

millions who are uninsured, or millions who will not be rejected because of pre-existing conditions or millions....

your attack on Williams is silly

I think your right.

The GOP has stabbed istelf in the stomach here.

They thought they could stop it and now they are at a loss at where to go next.

They really screwed themselves this time.

we have somewhere to go,, we are going to the polls, "we will remember in November.

Because it is a fact. There are people who will survive this year to live another because this bill passed.

LOL, that bill is going to prevent EVERYONE from dying, sheesh what about overpopulation now.

If anything, the GOP played its hand perfectly. They fought the Democrat disaster with all their might. That's exactly what Millions & Millions of Citizens wanted them to do. The Democrats won and got their Health Care debacle through and that doesn't hurt the GOP in any way. As far as i'm concerned, the GOP did exactly what i wanted them to do. They stood up and fought for Freedom & Liberty. Maybe things are finally changing for the better in the GOP? I guess we'll see.

heeeeeee heeeee dante i knew that one would blow your dick off, errrrr i mean yer head.. Hhheeeeeeee

yep, the Gop listened to what the people they Represnt asked of them.

you have to give them kudos for it THIS time. and they better have learned a lesson from this, we mean business. they want to hold onto their jobs, we are their bosses and they LISTEN to us.

Here's a :clap2: for the Gop. good job.

Even David Frum thinks the GOP went way over the line and will pay the price. The Cons cannot back step now, they are stuck with the actions they have taken. They will in the end pay for it.

I expect some GOP gains in the House and Senate, but as the elction grown ever nearer, we will how Repugs campaign on this issue.

Frum was a speech writer for the shrub,(Which must have been very hard. The shrub can barely read "Dick, Jane and Sally"). He has more voice in the Repugnant Party than David "Hooker" Vitter (He who likes to diapers during sex with a prostitute).

The article raises some interesting points. For better or worse the Democrats now "own" the bill, and the Republicans will likely be viewed as "the Party of No" because they could not even come to agreement on parts of the bill they had endorsed under past administrations. It doesn't give them the "noble resistance" so much as a "sour grapes" visage.

The article is also likely right in that since this is not a bipartisan bill, it will be the Democrats who will get the credit, but also the blame for everything that goes wrong....much like Bush did for his prescription drug plan.

The GOP just needs to take Margaret Thatcher's wise advice..."Don't go all wobbly now." They stood up for real Freedom & Liberty but lost. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Look at all the dirty slimy tricks the Democrats had to pull to pass their disaster. People wont forget that. The GOP is finally back on the right track. Take the loss but don't go all wobbly and fall back on the Progressives/Socialists in the party. That has been the GOP tendency in recent years. They just need to resist that temptation and keep on fighting the good fight. They really have gained much respect for their standing up for Freedom & Liberty. No need to change that course.

Nancy Pelosi: 11% approval
Harry Reid: 8% approval
Hussein Obama: 51% Disapproval.

Yeah, you guys rule.

See you in November!

and they did it a few days before...even up to the day before the elections...where the GOP got trounced
