I quit using Google when it became very obvious that their search results were politically biased.

Now I'm starting to feel the same way about duckduckgo.

I use Bing but it's gone to shit too. Even the ad blocker is not of much use now.

So I switched to the Duck long ago but now I'm detecting some political bias with them as well ....

1. Progressive/leftist preference for algorithms, as media sources that are leftist are vaulted to the top of searches. That's why we need to open up the algorithms so this manipulation can be exposed. Google needs an algorithm audit.
2. Sponsored content where people pay to get vaulted to the top.

All of these search engines have nothing to do with what is most correct or most popular. It's carefully constructed to promote certain ideologies while suppressing others.

The problem I've found is that I need to search something to sort a problem etc.. but the results divert to what's in the news, especially politics. On some occasions, I've given up.
