if the people on here knew of any decent dating sites, they wouldn't be on here.
That's the case for some but not all. I have known happily married men who still participate in online communities.
I personally would be very leery of all those sites as they can be as risky as picking up dates in bars. If you want to meet somebody decent, join a good church with folks your age and participate in Sunday school or other activities/groups offered, volunteer, join a dance club. I believe there is a soul mate for everyone who genuinely wants one but sometimes you have to put out some effort to find him or her.
I think I lost mine when I was 15, I had another, but it wasn't meant to be, and if I find another, so be it. If not, I can deal with it. Nobody wakes up and looks over at me and tries to ruin my day.
IMO there are many who are better suited to be single and they are blessed when they are comfortable with that. But many more do want someone to share their lives with and somewhere is the Mr. or Mrs. Right for that. There's good women, but they all do that. Women are the salt of the earth, don't get me wrong, but I'm OK with myself.
