British Petroleum got a fine of 4.5 billion dollars for their part in the Gulf disaster. This is about 20% of the net worth of one Walmart heir. Even better news is nobody goes to jail even though there were several felonies, and 11 lives lost, not including how thousands will suffer ill health in years to come over this avoidable disaster. You guys couldn't get your vulture capitalist swine romney in the white house but at least a major corporation is getting away with murder. This should be some consolation. Link below
