Glock just launched the Gen 6, so I flew out under embargo to run the new Glock 17/47, 19, and 45 Gen 6 side by side and see what actually changed. In this video I go over the real reliability data from Glock and the FBI, the new grip and palm swell, the flat trigger, factory undercut, gas pedal, extended beaver tail and redesigned texture, plus the new optics system that replaces the old MOS plates and works with RMR and DPP footprints. We talk about parts compatibility, the new barrel and single captive recoil spring, quasi modular slide and frame swaps between the 17 and 19, the price compared to the Gen 5 MOS, and the January 20, 2026 release date. I bring in Kaya from Classic Firearms, a former FBI agent and one of the best shooters I know, to give his honest take on the Gen 6 after carrying Glock on duty for years. Some people will say Glock did not change enough, others will say they changed too much, but after shooting it hard I think this is the best Glock yet and proof that Glock is actually listening to what shooters have been asking for.

I'm not going to rush out to get one, but if you need a great 9mm pistol you can't go wrong with a Glock.
I am thinking about getting a Walther PDP. I already have a PPQ M2 and a PPS M2.

I will stay with my PPQ-M2.

When it comes to DA/SA, I'm a classic Sig Sauer P228 guy.

I've sorta become a SIG fanboy of late.....I've picked up three early W. German made Sigs in the last couple months.

The only 9mm is a P226 but I sure prefer that over a Glock.

Of course the CZ-75 is king. ;)

I got this '78 Browning branded (SIG P220 in .45) yesterday.

I've got a lot of trigger time with the P220, P228, and P232. They are very good pistols.

I have no experience with CZ sadly. :itsok:

I'll check it out later. 👍
I still own a few Glocks. And they just plain work.

The main improvement appears to be the frame grip. I'll check them out in the fun store.

The Pre-Bs are the best....Waffle grip/Round trigger guard master race. ;)

I have a very early European market example. The fit and finish is amazing.

I'll stick to my 19 and 19x 3rd gen

all this knee jerk because some gang bangers can modify it to a full auto is just that

normal citizens don't modify illegally to full auto so once again it hurts law abiding because
of ******* criminals

but LE are except........of course, big shock here

neuter the public, they might harm themselves

full auto handgun even with a 30 round mag [have one] is more spray and pray, it's not going to be accurate

that is only good for a defense setup, not offense
