So SecDef Hegseth remarked that "our boys" flew the B2 mission that's on everyone mind these days, but the NYT respectfully disagrees because women pilots COULD HAVE been flying those planes.

What?

They could have been flown by monkees, too. But they weren't.

Is it possible to disagree without disagreeing? Is it possible to be disagreeable while making no point at all?

NYT, how far you have fallen.
 
Maybe he should have said guys. Maybe he meant it like guys.
Everywhere in public, mixed groups are referred to as guys by waiters, etc. “Can I get you anything else, guys?”

And everywhere in public women respond "Well this GAL would like . . .". I have never been in a mixed group where the women didn't object to being referred to as "guys".

I was one of five---the other four were ALL BOYS----when out in the world my mom would say
"let's go boys"------I never objected----but NOW that I think about it !!!!!!!!
