Negotiated what?
Where is the proof that these companies are changing plans or just feeding scraps from the table to make Trump not look that bad...
They are just feeding the ego...
I hear a hot stand outside Trump Tower has put on another guy to feed the press, Trump will take credit for that too... Surprised we didn't get a tweet about that...
Trump has a history for taking others credit so taking credit for jobs he didn't create and deals he didn't make is no suprise...
lol Both Boeing and Lockheed have said they will cut prices in response to Trump's criticism.
That's what trump is trying to do, yes I know he can be an idiot sometimes..
But he is trying to keep it in the News, make companies aware its not business as usual on capital hill..
Were tired of a president only talking nonsense like his picks for the final four like Obama did on national television when the country was in the dumpster.
.
Have any of ye ever worked in Business... This trick is as old as they come...
New Boss comes in and he says he will shake things up... Wants to renegotiate an existing deal, I have got to these meeting an headed up negotiations in a number...
Now this how it goes, The New Boss is looking for a quick win and is willing to give favourable treatment down the line if you give him a win or perceived win... So we go in and he will ask for the world, we simply put it that we can't do that (and you would loose a trusted supplier) but we can help you by a small restructure of taking this of the base cost and putting this into extras for later one(when no one is watching). If he needs a real win we just know that the next contract it will be easy to tag it on.
The New Boss comes out saying he negotiated a lower price and we give a look of defeat(while smiling to ourselves).. He can go around with his chest out saying I am the New man that solves these problems...
We got the New Boss owing us one and we will be reminding him of that when the change requests come in...
This is a simple case of 'Feeding the Ego'.
Thats why I ask for details and why they are not giving them.
The problem with your premise, the U. S. Government is not business and Trump is not politician..
This experiment has never been tried before in the modern United States.
.
Tried plenty of other places... It works if the person was truly good at business and understands government, then picks a team to suit...
Tump is an average business man who inherited a lot of money... He is no Bill Gates or Mike Bloomberg... The truth is he would be just as rich if invested his money in Bonds...
There is and was good businessmen who have the proper experience Trump is not one of them..
Secondly, his team, it is a terrible tema for him... They have very limited government experience between them.. also they again aren't the right type of buiness men...
Three from Goldman Sachs - Want to see badly run businesses, go to any investment bank, the waste is scarey.
Ben Carson for Housing... Are you serious...
The AG is basically anti Human Rights and would walk over the constitution over his ideology...
The list goes on... These guys aren't there to fix the problem but to a fire sale... That might sound good but this is an ideological lead group who have no experience of the consequences of there actions...
The Presidency is not the place to be conducting a lets see what happens approach, a lot can go wrong...
