GE is making a nearly half-a-billion dollar investment and creating at least 800 full-time jobs.

A number of companies have committed to investing in the U.S. since Trump took office, including South Korean-based car manufacturer Hyundai, which is investing $21 billion in U.S. onshoring, including a $5.8 billion steel plant in Louisiana. Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson, too, announced plans to invest $55 billion in U.S. manufacturing. And in February, tech company Apple committed to spending more than $500 billion on U.S. manufacturing capabilities over the next four years

I believe I heard Samsung is investing in the United States too. that's two Korean companies.

Except this has nothing to do with Trump. GE started implementing this policy in 2016, and made a similar announcement of investment in that plant when Biden was POTUS : "Over the last five years, GE Appliances has invested more than $1.3billion in its U.S. manufacturing and distribution operations and created more than 3,000 new jobs – with a majority in Kentucky. " (October 28, 2021) GE Appliances to invest $450 million, add Appliance Park jobs over the next two years

From what some say many will be brought in for these jobs. I hope to goodness it is not true.
