Is the constant impression that this round of war in Gaza started on Oct 7 misinformation?
Every report about Gaza starts with “ after the Oct 7 attack” as if Gaza was all peace and unicorns.
Even calling the bad acts of Oct 7 as a retaliation for the months of killings by Israel changes the narrative.
When Netanyahu created the far right wing government he needed to stay in power he placed extremists in charge of the security department. They immediately went into Gaza and started to kill people. In the Israeli press it would say IDF killed Hamas operative. Better press would tell that that attack killed. Multiple Palestinians. These extremist knew that “ poking the bear “ would get a war act. Sadly placing Israeli’s lives in jeopardy to start a war. The narrative changes and the media needs to address this.

I guess the Arabs in Gaza weren't ready for their own state.

Right

Right

Gaza is the land of milk and honey where people are treated with decency and respect
From 2005 until the invasion and atrocities of October 7, 2023, Israel had absolutely no administrative control over the people of Gaza. Israel had no control over their incitement to violence, their political gatherings, their use of propaganda to instill hatred, their marches, their communication, their building permits, their fences, their elementary or university education, their religious sermons, or any other thing beyond the urgent and necessary security concerns to prevent importing weapons that would eventually be used (on October 7!) to commit crimes against humanity and war crimes against the civilians in Israel.

The land of Gaza is no different than the land of Tel Aviv. The land is the land of milk and honey. The land is that thing. The difference between Gaza and Tel Aviv is not the land. It is the will of the people who decide their own future and fate there. The people of Gaza should invest in water and not in war.

And the nerve to accuse Israel of a lack of "decency and respect" for a people that they do not control, that they do not administer, that they do not govern when Hamas (the actual for-real government of Gaza) has deliberately chosen to invest in war and destruction instead of milk and honey.

Wanna test me on this? Give Gaza over to Israel. In ten years, it will be rebuilt. In 30, it will be a thriving, economically flourishing, democratic, and peaceful place.

Well I heard that plan is in already place and were watching it unfold in real time

I was once an AVID Bibi supporter, check my history here

I apologize if I am misreading you. But that video you posted is egregious in its inaccuracy, especially with respect to Gaza.

The plan in place is unworkable as it leaves Hamas in power and with military capabilities. No country is willing to take on the work of engaging militarily with them. First time Hamas sets an IED and blows up a building with foreign troops inside, every country will abandon Gaza. No one is going to put their own troops at risk trying to eliminate Hamas. IMO, of course.
