We spend so much time discussing what Gaza "could have been" from a Western perspective (the "jewel" of the Mediterranean and all that), but what is the Gaza that "could have been" from a Palestinian perspective? If, in 2005, Gazans had rejected jihad and had embraced celebrating and showcasing their own unique culture and values, what would that have looked like?
