gas prices are down!

$2.79 around here, it was $2.54 last week.
Here is the reason for your state's increase.

Gas prices have dropped in many states, but Southwest Missouri saw an increase due to a few local factors. Here’s why:

  • Regional Supply & Demand: While national trends show a decline, Missouri’s fuel supply may have been affected by local refinery maintenance or distribution issues.
  • State Tax Adjustments: Some states have temporarily reduced fuel taxes, leading to lower prices, while Missouri’s tax rates remained unchanged.
  • Market Trends: The national average has been falling, with states like Arizona, Oregon, and Oklahoma seeing the biggest drops. However, Missouri’s prices have fluctuated due to regional wholesale costs.

How about posting a "Gas Buddy" screen shot to prove your claims.

It's pretty easy to do.

The cheapest price that I have paid recently was $2.50 with my Food City discount. The full price was $2.65. That was on April 26th. The last time that I got gas was three days ago for $2.61 with my Food City discount. $2.76 was the full price then.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. Right now, I don't know what today's price is.

What a bad orange man he is. Drill baby drill makes prices go down. He needs to be impeached.
Oil is down 25% since January.
Gasoline should correspond after Memorial Day weekend as demand is reduced and the fuel mixture change period is complete.
Likely won’t get back to the $1.80 it was under trump 45 because democrats printed money and reduced the dollar’s value.
