One of the biggest problems in the US is everyone wants the Federal Government to make everyone else live like they want to live. Why not let everyone (within reason) live how they want to live regionally? If you want to have naked die ins in Portland why is that anyone's business in Boston? Or Washington DC. Not hyperventilating about it will make it go away faster anyway. The people of Portland will get tired of it and elect officials who will stop it.
