This installed Dimm Gov't needed to get to him first before testifying because of his mega-donations to their party in order to vett him.

Seems odd that the justice dept would want to stop someone they think has committed a crime from going in front of Congress and running his mouth for hours under oath. Without the benefit of Miranda and all the other protections you get once you're actually charged and arrested. Everything he said would have been admissible wouldnt it?
