Vive La France!

VERSAILLES, France, March 4 (Reuters) - France on Monday enshrined the right to abortion in its constitution, a world first welcomed by women's rights groups as historic and harshly criticized by anti-abortion groups.
MPs and senators overwhelmingly backed the move, by 780 votes against 72, in a special joint vote of the two houses of parliament, under the gilded ceilings of Versailles Palace, just outside Paris.
Abortion rights activists gathered in central Paris cheered and applauded as the Eiffel Tower scintillated in the background and displayed the message "MyBodyMyChoice" as the result of the vote was announced on a giant screen.

Democrats had 50 years to make abortion a Constitutional right.

why didn't they?

Nice to see common sense and fairness prevail .

For me there is nothing more sick making than hearing others talking about the sanctity of Life but having zero understanding of the cycle of the soul through time.
That is , not knowing that you can never destroy energy . Just transfer it .
So, the alleged so called killing of an embryo is just the delaying a new incarnation .

There wasn`t a need to. People should just mind their own business regarding women`s choices.

the people that decided Roe v Wade should have thought of that 50 years ago, and found a way to prevent it from being overturned.

By that logic, it is okay if someone kills you.....or anyone for that matter.

So "murder" of babies is fine as long as they are french babies?

We see what phonies these "pro-life" clowns are after every one of our massacres. They`re nowhere to be found and they`re more likely to defend the shooter`s rights.

Speaking for myself I've never woke-up and thought....I wish I lived in France.
Have you ever gone? I lived there for years and honestly, it's much better than the usa.
